Claire Churchard is deputy editor of the Morning Advertiser and an award winning business and policy journalist with a wide range of experience working in print and digital media.
During her career she has covered various sectors including employment policy and law, European policy, the environment, construction, social housing and security.
For the first three and a half years of her career she worked in magazine production becoming production editor at Nature Publishing Group in 2005 managing four magazines. She has also held various senior roles at Haymarket, CMPi, Emap and Trinity Mirror before joining William Reed.
Before becoming a journalist, Claire graduated with a BA (hons) degree in Politics, then she stayed and worked in her university town of Southampton for a year. She spent another year working and volunteering abroad, then two years working at Granada (now itv).
